Bloom Golf Management Acquires Cedar Creek Golf Club in Aiken, South Carolina
By Brian Weis
Bloom Golf Management is proud to announce the acquisition of Cedar Creek Golf Club, a beloved Arthur Hills-designed course located in the heart of Aiken, South Carolina. The purchase was made possible through a successful capital raise driven by an exclusive investment offering.
The capital secured through this initiative is being strategically deployed not only to complete the purchase of the club but also to fund a series of significant capital improvements-many of which are already underway. These upgrades are focused on enhancing both the playability of the course and the overall member and guest experience.
"Cedar Creek is a special place with a loyal membership, a proud history, and a golf course that deserves thoughtful investment," said Russ Bloom, President of Bloom Golf Management. "We are thrilled to be part of this community and honored to guide the next chapter of such a storied club."
Cedar Creek becomes the seventh golf course under Bloom Golf Management's growing portfolio. Five of these clubs are owned through similar capital investment partnerships, while two operate under third-party management agreements. The company remains committed to pursuing carefully chosen projects that align with its vision and values.
Bloom Golf Management would also like to extend a special thank you to Don Groft, Director of Business Development, for his role in identifying the Cedar Creek opportunity and navigating the investment process and deal execution. This marks the first project Don has been instrumental in adding, and the company is grateful to have his expertise and leadership on the team.
"Our improvement plan at Cedar Creek is designed to produce sustainable quality and long-term financial success for the club," added Bloom. "This project is a perfect reflection of our mission and what we strive to deliver at every property we serve."
Cedar Creek Golf Club will remain open throughout the improvement process, and members and guests can expect to see ongoing enhancements to the course and facilities in the coming months.

About: Brian Weis
While Brian Weis has made a name for himself in the golf world, he also appreciates the finer things in life—like a world-class spa treatment after a grueling 18 holes (or even after a casual round where the only thing working hard was his golf cart). A self-proclaimed "golfer who enjoys relaxation more than practice," Brian has developed a deep appreciation for massages that unknot his questionable swing mechanics, saunas that sweat out a few too many post-round drinks, and infinity pools with views as stunning as a well-manicured par 3.
Brian’s spa journey began as a reluctant tag-along to couples' massages and resort spa packages but quickly evolved into a full-fledged appreciation for hot stone therapy, deep-tissue recovery, and the occasional seaweed wrap (don’t knock it till you try it). Now, he seeks out the best spa retreats, thermal baths, and relaxation havens wherever his travels take him—whether it's a luxury golf resort with a five-star spa or a hidden wellness gem perfect for unwinding in style.
On SpaTrips.com, Brian shares his experiences, reviews, and insider tips on the best places to soothe sore muscles, indulge in rejuvenating treatments, and find true relaxation—whether you're a hardcore golfer in need of recovery or just someone looking for the ultimate escape. After all, what’s the point of a bucket list golf trip if you can’t top it off with an expert massage, a hot soak, and maybe even a ridiculously plush robe"
