BOYNE Golf Welcomes Epson Tour Star Sarah White as Brand Ambassador

Michigan native and rising women's professional golfer will represent the Northern Michigan golf destination

By Brian Weis

BOYNE Golf proudly announces Sarah White, a standout on the Epson Tour and currently the longest driver in women's professional golf, as a brand ambassador. White, a West Michigan native and Western Michigan and Texas State alum, has been playing the Epson Tour since 2020, and she just qualified this week for her first-ever LPGA Tour event: the 2024 LPGA Mexico Riviera Open at Mayakoba.

As women's golf gains momentum and Michigan continues to grow as a national golf destination, this partnership spotlights a local athlete with global potential, driving visibility for BOYNE Golf and the next generation of professional talent.

"When it comes to golf in Michigan, BOYNE Golf is the leader in so many categories from destination golf to hosting top tournaments," said White. "To have the opportunity to be an ambassador and promote the BOYNE Golf brand nationwide as I continue my journey as a professional golfer is very exciting."

White, who appeared on the ABC reality television series Holey Moley, will represent BOYNE Golf by showcasing their logo, promoting the leading golf destination brand as she travels nationwide pursuing her professional playing career throughout the year, including the Epson Tour's Great Lakes Championship June 11-16 at The Highlands of Harbor Springs.

A Grand Rapids native, White's golf journey began at East Kentwood High School, where she won the 2014 MHSAA Division I State Championship. She went on to play collegiate golf at both Western Michigan University and Texas State. In 2020, she captured the Michigan Women's Open joining her brother, Mike White, as the only siblings to win the Women's and Men's Michigan Opens.

"We are very excited to be aligning ourselves with one of the top up-and-coming women golfers from Michigan to help promote the BOYNE Golf brand nationwide," said Josh Richter, PGA, Senior Vice President of Golf Operations for BOYNE Golf. "Sarah is a wonderful player and a great ambassador for BOYNE Golf. As she continues to grow in her professional career, we look forward to being a part of her journey."

White, who is 27, turned professional in 2020. That year, she received a sponsor's exemption to the Founders Tribute. She immediately took advantage and won the golf tournament as a non-member, becoming the first non-member to earn an EPSON Tour Membership. Since then, she has five top 10s with 68 starts. She has led the Epson Tour in driving distance for the past three seasons, averaging over 302 yards off the tee in 2024, making her one of the longest hitters in professional women's golf.

About: Brian Weis

Brian Weis While Brian Weis has made a name for himself in the golf world, he also appreciates the finer things in life—like a world-class spa treatment after a grueling 18 holes (or even after a casual round where the only thing working hard was his golf cart). A self-proclaimed "golfer who enjoys relaxation more than practice," Brian has developed a deep appreciation for massages that unknot his questionable swing mechanics, saunas that sweat out a few too many post-round drinks, and infinity pools with views as stunning as a well-manicured par 3.

Brian’s spa journey began as a reluctant tag-along to couples' massages and resort spa packages but quickly evolved into a full-fledged appreciation for hot stone therapy, deep-tissue recovery, and the occasional seaweed wrap (don’t knock it till you try it). Now, he seeks out the best spa retreats, thermal baths, and relaxation havens wherever his travels take him—whether it's a luxury golf resort with a five-star spa or a hidden wellness gem perfect for unwinding in style.

On SpaTrips.com, Brian shares his experiences, reviews, and insider tips on the best places to soothe sore muscles, indulge in rejuvenating treatments, and find true relaxation—whether you're a hardcore golfer in need of recovery or just someone looking for the ultimate escape. After all, what’s the point of a bucket list golf trip if you can’t top it off with an expert massage, a hot soak, and maybe even a ridiculously plush robe"
